What's Carrie Underwood really saying about having kids: ‘Within the Next Few Years Would Just be Bad’

Carrie Underwood is still enjoying the newlywed phase of her marriage and isn’t planning on adding any babies to her household any time soon. Many tabloids this week have erroneously reported that Carrie and her husband, hockey player Mike Fisher, are planning to adopt, but that’s just not the case Carrie says.
“I’m good on the kid front right now,” Carrie told E! News at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas Friday night. “Mike and I are both so busy. We want to do what’s best for us and our future children. Anytime within the next few years would just be bad.”
Although Carrie does see kids in her future, just how many she’ll have is unclear.
“I say two but he grew up in a family of four,” she said. “I just don’t know if I can do that. I would probably want to pull my hair out.”
Although there aren’t any kids in the near future for Carrie, she does have a ‘baby’ of another sort to keep her busy…. she’s currently writing and recording for her next studio album.
